A Little About Me.

I know the world of Not for Profits.

I have provided leadership for more than 40 years primarily as Executive Director at Star of Hope Ministries in Paterson, NJ and Director of Social Services for The Salvation Army in New York City. I have managed budgets up to $50 million and teams from 12 to 680 people.

I have a BSW and Masters in Counseling.

My wife Barb and I have 4 children and 4 grandchildren.

And we have a dog named Jack.

My Mission.

My mission is to empower strong and effective leaders growing healthy organizations.

My Goal.

My goal is to Equip Leaders To Become Capacity Builders.

I believe that the health and growth of a Not for Profit is directly related to its Executive Leadership. Behind every Not for Profit that is growing you will find a leader that is growing and creating a culture to move the organization into the future. This quite simply, is called Capacity Building. This concept is defined by the National Council for Not for Profits as follows:

Capacity building is whatever is needed to bring a nonprofit to the next level of operational, programmatic, financial, or organizational maturity, so it may more effectively and efficiently advance its mission into the future. Capacity Building is not a one-time effort to improve short-term effectiveness, but a continuous improvement strategy toward the creation of a sustainable and effective organization.


I am committed to strengthening leaders to grow healthy organizations. My unique strategy of personalized coaching is designed to meet the leader in the trenches of their not for profit role while encouraging them to become lifelong capacity builders.
